BNP regrets public sufferings in advance of rally

BNP spokesperson Tariqul Islam addresses a press briefing in the party’s central office at Nayapaltan in the capital on Tuesday.

BNP spokesperson Tariqul Islam on Tuesday claimed that a large number of people will join the roadside rallies of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia slated for tomorrow.

Khaleda is scheduled to address six roadside rallies during a mass contact campaign in the capital on Wednesday as part of her movement for the reinstatement of the caretaker government system before the next parliamentary elections.

Khaleda will start Wednesday’s programme by addressing a roadside rally in Gabtoli at 11:00am and then address rallies in Karwan Bazar, Dholaikhal, Jatrabari, Sabujbagh and Badda.

The BNP also regretted the upcoming sufferings of the Dhaka city dwellers that they would face tomorrow due to Khaleda’s rallies.

The Wednesday’s rally will turn into a human sea, said Tariqul, also a standing committee member of the BNP.

He was addressing a press briefing in the party’s central office at Nayapaltan in the capital.

The BNP leaders regret the inconvenience of people caused by the rallies in a working day.
