JSC, JDC exam rescheduled again

Jamaat-e-Islami calls for countrywide hartal for Wednesday and Thursday

The education ministry has reshuffled the dates for two papers of JSC and JDC examinations again because of Jamaat’s hartal.

The English fist paper exam of JSC and Arabic first paper exam of JDC will be held on November 19 instead of November 5, according to a press release of the Education Ministry.

While the English second paper of JSC and Arabic second paper of JDC will be held on November 20 instead of November 6.

The decision was taken at an emergency meeting chaired by Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid at the secretariat on Monday afternoon.

Earlier, Bangla first paper and Bangla second paper of JSC and JDC examinations were reshuffled for the same reason.

Jamaat-e-Islami has called countrywide hartal for Wednesday and Thursday in protest against the death penalty for its leader Kamaruzzaman for committing crimes against humanity during the Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971.
