DHAKA: President of Jatiya Somajtantrik Dal (JSD) and Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu Friday urged the BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia to participate in the upcoming national elections by leaving militant force.

Speaking at a discussion as the chief guest he made the request to Begum Zia saying, “Take part in the next general elections by leaving militant force and stop conspiracy and anarchism in the country.”

JSD Dhaka city unit organised the discussion titled “Threat to attack on democracy and conspiracy against the Constitution” with the unit coordinator Mir Hossain Akhter in the chair.

He said, “Begum Zia has no comments on country’s developments and nothing to say about freedom fighters or progress of technology . (but) they are spreading an illusive net round about Oct 25th to create unrest across the country.”

The time has come for the nation to be united like the 71, he said.

Addressing the JSD worker Inu said that JSD leaders would show right path to the nation in future like they did in past.

JSD standing committee members Shirin Akhter, Nurul Akhter Khan, Shafi Mollah, Sawkat Rayhan and Naimul Hasan Jewel spoke, among others.

  1. Why few Bengali language dailies censor even a very mind criticism of information minister Mr Inu, the leader of the Scientific Socialism? Luckily most of the Bangladeshi media both English & Bengali publish the same comments
