Bangladesh permanent mission to the United Nations in New York has decided to open a ‘Help-Line’ for Bangladeshis affected by superstorm Sandy in the USA.

Those who are looking information to get help can call the following telephone numbers: 212-867-3434 (Sanjida) and 718-639-0768/ 347-706-0846 (Tofazzal Karim).

Meanwhile, Bangladesh Permanent Representative to UN, Dr Abdul Momen, on behalf of Bangladesh government, condoled the Sandy victims.

“Sandy devastation further reminds all of us that climate change issue needs to be focused more seriously by all,” he said a condolence message.

He urged the global leadership to come forward with adequate resources, technology and commitment to manage and face the emerging global challenge.
