It took just two games for Comilla Victorian’s Pakistani recruit Hasan Ali to make an impact in the on-going Bangladesh Premier League as his career best performance of 5-20 sank star-studded Dhaka Dynamites to a four-wicket defeat. Hasan came to bowl the second over of Dhaka innings and delivered two straight full balls to bowl Evin Lewis and Mehedi Maruf out. In his second spell, he applied the same formula to bowl out Mosaddek Hossain before wrapping up Dhaka’s innings by claiming Mohammad Saddam and Abu Hider in his final over. This was his first five-wicket haul in the shortest format of the game and he celebrated it by expressing his gratitude towards Allah. After claiming his five-for, he performed sajdah like most of the Muslim players to celebrate personal accomplishment.
