Fresh protests across France over labour law reforms

int03-4

Protesters across France are marching to voice their anger at labour reforms being championed by the country’s Socialist government.
Officials hope the reforms will inject a bit more flexibility into the country’s stagnant labour market but many workers fear the changes will do little more than weaken the nation’s generous social protections.
Local media counted some 200 demonstrations across France, including a march in Paris kicking off from Place de la Republique, the home of a round-the-clock Occupy Wall Street-style sit-in .
