Workers remain busy in building an entrance of the Dhaka International Trade Fair, scheduled to begin on January 1, at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in Dhaka on Tuesday. — Focusbangla photo

The month-long Dhaka International Trade Fair-2016 will begin on January 1 to bring a host of local and international manufacturers and retailers under a single square of open sky.
Prime minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to open the fair at 3:30pm on the day, said a press release.
Commerce ministry and Export Promotion Bureau of Bangladesh will organise the annual fair at the city’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar at the trade fair ground near the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre.
