Chittagong Vikings outplayed Barisal Bulls by 78 runs to wrap-up the Chittagong phase of the 4th Bangladesh Premier League T20 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on Tuesday.

Chasing a target of 186, Barisal scored 107 for all in 18.4 overs with Enamul Haque’s unbeaten stroke of 42 off 37 balls including one boundary and four over boundaries, according to news agency UNB.

Chittagong bowlers dominated over Barisal from the very beginning destroying six batsmen –Dawid Malan, Nadif Chowdhury, Shahriar Nafees, Jeevan Mendis, skipper Mushfiqur Rahim and Thisara Perera — in a gradual interval for 37/6 in 7.2 overs.

Of them six-wicket Mushfiqur Rahim was the only batsman collected double figure 19 off 14 balls, including two boundaries and one six.

Afghan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi made the first breakthrough in the first delivery of his very first over bowling out Malan at 5/1 in 1.1 over and took the 2nd one in his last ball of the same over conceding 5 runs.

Then maintained their winning spree beating Rajshshi kings by 19-run, Comilla Victorinas by six-wicket and Barisal Bulls by 78 runs.
