Crude bomb blast in front of BNP central office

A crude bomb went off in front of BNP’s central office in Dhaka’s Paltan area on Friday.
The incident took place around 3pm, when BNP activists and leaders gathered in front of the party office to withdraw and submit nomination forms for the upcoming city corporations’ election.
However, no casualty was reported in the incident.
Paltan police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abu Bakkar Siddique said: “On information, we have sent officials to the spot to investigate the matter.
“We are working to find out who was involved in the incident, and how the blast happened.”
