The government has extended the ongoing closure of all educational institutions till August 31 as a preventive measure against further spread of coronavirus.

The decision is also applicable for Ebtedayee and Qawmi madrasas across the country, according to a press release of the education ministry.

Based on recommendations by the National Technical Advisory Committee on Covid-19, the government has extended the closure considering the safety of students, teachers, employees and guardians amid growing Covid-19 infections and the countrywide lockdown.
