Bangladesh women pitted against PNG, Holland and UAE

Bangladesh will face PNG in their opening game on July 7 before taking on the Dutch and the Emiratis on July 8 and 10 respectively

Bangladesh have been grouped together with Papua New Guinea, host Netherlands and the UAE as the ICC announced the details of the Women’s World T20 Qualifiers Wednesday.

Bangladesh have been drawn in Group A.

Group B comprises Ireland, Scotland, Thailand and Uganda.

The Women’s World T20 Qualifiers will be hosted by the Netherlands from July 7-14 this year.

The top two teams from the Qualifiers will join Australia, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka and host West Indies in the tournament finals, scheduled to be held from November 2-25 this year.

Bangladesh will face PNG in their opening game on July 7 before taking on the Dutch and the Emiratis on July 8 and 10 respectively.

The women in red and green will also lock horns with Scotland in a practice match on July 5.
