Another Bangladeshi killed by Indians

 

Barely three days into the killing of three Bangladeshi nationals by India civilians in Tripura of India, another Bangladeshi was shot to death by members of India’s Khasia community at Bagaiya in Goainghat upazila on Tuesday.

 

The victim was identified as Delwar Hossain, 16, son of Shah Alam of Bisanakandi Muslimpara in the upazila.

 

Locals said the Khasia community members opened fire on Delwar as he had been in the bordering area near pillar No 1262 around 2:30pm to collect logs, leaving him dead on the spot.

 

Later, members of Border Guard Bangladesh were informed about the incident as the body was lying on the no-man’s land till filing of this report at about 6pm.

 

On Saturday night, three Bangladeshi nationals were chopped to death in the Khowai town of Tripura state, close to the border of Chunarughat upazila in Habiganj district.

 

The incident took place when some Indian villagers suspected them to be cattle lifters as they were returning home with cattle.
