My working theory, Jamaat is letting mob mentality behave freely. They are not stopping the mob from doing what the mob wants to do. Why? Not enough leader type to reign in the unruly folks present in the rallies?
Or Jamaat deliberately making police ineffective? means they are creating a situation where it will seem that police in unable to control the situation. Just force government to deploy army. The longer Army is deployed and army is needed to maintain law and order situation – the stronger public sentiment in favor of army take over. At the same time the more Army keeps protecting civilian government the stronger it gets, the more upper hand it will have over the civilian government.
And as I have been saying for a while, jamaat is not as unified as it used to be, or as ppl might think. With entire top four tiers of leader in jail or underground, local units are probably co ordinations these attacks. And now the leadership, such as it is, probably supports it because it makes police ineffective and invites an army coup.

They are trying to goad the state machinery. That’s the game. It makes little sense for AL to ban jamaat.
As for false flag theory, sometimes looking for false flag is a red herring. Army doesn’t need all this elaborate false flag to come in.
