90 Bangladeshi workers fly to Malaysia

A total of 90 Bangladeshi workers, out of 174, left Dhaka for Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday under a government-to-government agreement.

Airport sources said an aircraft of Malaysian Airlines took off Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at about 11:30 am taking the 90 Bangladeshi workers in the second phase.

Earlier in May this year, 198 Bangladeshi workers sent to Malaysia in the first phase under government arrangements. The process to send the Bangladeshi workers in the second phase got delayed due to national election in Malaysia.
