Savar, Mar 15 (UNB) – Three persons were injured as six crude bombs exploded near the theme park Fantasy Kingdom at Shimultala under Ashulia thana of Savar on Friday.Identity of the injured could not be known immediately.
Badrul Alam, officer-in-charge of Ashulia thana, said six crude bombs were exploded by unidentified miscreants at about 11:55am at a place 500 yards away from Fantasy Kingdom where preparation was afoot to build a Ganajagaran Mancha.
Three pedestrians received injuries in the explosion.
Of the injured, one was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital while the others were admitted to a local hospital.
A three-tier security has been arranged in the area following the incident.
