2 arson attack victims die at DMCH

Two arson attack victims with critical burn injuries died at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital on Friday.
Abdur Rahim Morol, a retailer of raw materials from Satkhira, succumbed to his injuries at 10:20 am, said DMCH residential surgeon Partho Sangkar.
Earlier, Zakir, whose detail identity could not be known, died at 3:00am, hours after he was transferred to DMCH from Savar’s Ganasastha Kendra Hospital.
Residential surgeon Partha said Rahim received 33 per cent of burn injuries when miscreants hurtled petrol bomb on a truck at Nungola area in Bogra last night.
Rahim was driving the truck on its way to Pirojpur.
Another victim of the same attack, Saju Khalifa, a trader of Sibganj, was fighting for his life with his face and neck totally burnt, the surgeon added.
Zakir was found with burn injuries all over his body at Nabinagar area of Savar on January 13.
Local people admitted him to Ganasastha Kendra Hospital with 70 percent burn injuries.
